October 2009 : a new release (bibus 1.5.0)

Starting Bibus in a non-English language (on Windows)

French/German/Portuguese/Spanish

If Bibus doesn't start in one of these languages automatically, you need to modify the configuration file bibus.cfg in the installation directory of Bibus, on English systems usually 'C:\Programm Files\bibus\'. Just open this file with a simple text editor (e.g. Windows Editor) and add the lines: 

[LANG]
language = French (or just: fr) or German or Portuguese or Spanish

When you (re)start Bibus it should be in your chosen language.

Chinese/Czech/Hungarian/Slovenian

If Bibus doesn't start automatically in one of these languages on Windows, you have to rename a directory in 'C:\Program Files\bibus\locale\' (on an English Windows). These folders contain the translation files which Bibus uses.

So rename the folder of your preferred language.
