How to insert [number] as reference:
- open Bibus program
- open menu 'Styles/Edit ...'
- open tab 'Bibliographic index'
- enable checkbox 'Number entries'
- press button 'Save'
- open menu 'OpenOffice.org/Format Bibliography', the document should be opened in OpenOffice at this moment
- Happy End.
